Regional Freight Strategy Workshop
November 15, 2005
Radisson Hotel Milwaukee Airport
Milwaukee

Objectives

The main objective of Phase II of the Upper Midwest Freight Corridor Study is the development of a regional freight agenda, facilitation of discussions concerning a regional approach to deploying commercial vehicle-related intelligent transportation systems, and maintenance and improvement of the regional information systems on freight.

A November 15th Regional Freight Strategy Workshop will be held in Milwaukee, WI to bring together a variety of transportation administrators, researchers, and stakeholders. Discussion will center on the identification of potential areas for inclusion in a regional agenda for freight management. Anyone with a strong interest in transportation is encouraged to join us. Participants will benefit from having familiarity with the collection of white papers compiled by the Midwest Freight Corridor Study Research Team.

Meeting summaries and materials are posted in the archives
